PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Turin is a walkable city with an efficient and easy-to-use public transport system. You can get around using buses, trams, and the metro, all operated by GTT (Gruppo Torinese Trasporti).
The Tap&Go GTT system is Torino’s contactless fare payment method, allowing passengers to use their contactless-enabled credit, debit, or prepaid cards or digital wallets to pay for public transport. Alternatively, tickets can be purchased at tobacco shops (tabacchi), newsstands, vending machines, or via the GTT TO Move app.
A single ticket is valid for 100 minutes and can be used across different transport modes. The metro is fully automated, efficient, and accessible, with elevators at every station,

TAXI AND RIDE APPS
Taxis are available throughout the city. They can be found at stands, called by phone, or booked via apps like Free Now (https://www.taxitorino.it/).
Rideshare services such as Uber are limited, but available in some areas.
BIKE & SCOOTER SHARING
Turin offers several micromobility options as bike-sharing systems available via their respective apps. These are great for short distances and exploring the city center or parks.
