Sunday, 19 July – Welcome Drink from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM
On 19 July, a Welcome Drink will take place at Eataly Torino offering attendees a pleasant opportunity to meet and connect at the beginning of the congress.
Throughout the congress, discount cards will be provided. These can be used from 19 to 24 July at the Eataly Torino Lingotto store and offer a 10% discount on purchases in the Market area and a 20% discount for dining in the restaurants (excluding the bar). The discount cannot be combined with any other ongoing promotions.

Wednesday, 22 July – Free Afternoon Activities
The ISBE 2026 Local Organizing Committee is planning a variety of activities to help delegates make the most of their free afternoon. Whether you’re interested in sports, cultural experiences, or social events, there will be something for everyone to enjoy!
We’ll guide you through a range of opportunities to relax, explore the city, and connect with fellow delegates.
Delegates can join a volleyball match on the riverside, share a bouldering session, go to the Valentino park for a stroll or a frisbee tournament. Alternatively, one may use the free entry tickets provided for the following museums:

If other museums have captured your interest, Turismo Torino has launched a special 72-hour Congress Card that grants access to two museums.
Beach volleyball games will take place at “Amici del Fiume” (Corso Moncalieri 18, 10125 Torino) from 17:30 to 19:30. This activity is free of charge and available to the first 75 participants that register.

The venue also offers the option to use Dragon Boats with 10 or 20 seats, ideal for a canoeing group experience. Cost: €24 per person (including instructors, equipment, and insurance). This activity is not free of charge and must be paid directly by the participants. Please note that places are limited (registration required)
Frisbee sessions will take place in the park, where our Local Organizing Committee will be present to welcome you and take care of all arrangements on site.
For those wishing to venture beyond the city, complimentary admission will also be available to Zoom Torino, an innovative zoological park located just outside Turin. Designed around immersive habitats rather than traditional cages, Zoom offers visitors the opportunity to observe animals from around the world in spacious, naturalistic environments while learning about conservation and biodiversity.
LGBTQIA+ Allies Event
Join us for a vibrant LGBTQIA+ Allies Night at Imbarchino from 20:30 to 00:00, one of Turin’s most iconic riverside venues. Located along the Po River, Imbarchino offers a relaxed and welcoming setting that perfectly captures the spirit of community, creativity, and togetherness.
The evening will feature a lively karaoke session hosted by “Sorry, Perdóname Madre por mi Karaoke”, bringing energy, humor, and an open stage for unforgettable performances. Whether you choose to sing or simply enjoy the show, the atmosphere promises to be fun and full of positive energy.
Imbarchino is also a proud Friends of ISBE partner, and all delegates will benefit from a 10% discount on food and drinks upon presentation of their congress badge throughout the entire conference week.
Participation is free of charge, but registration is required due to limited capacity. Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis, so early registration is strongly recommended.

Thursday, 23 July – Social party
The ISBE Social Party will be held on Thursday, July 23rd. A lively evening featuring food, music and plenty of opportunities for conversation to connect with fellow delegates will take place at ONE, a lovely setting inside the Valentino park.
Attendance to the event requires a separate ticket, which must be purchased in advance during Registration. Student and senior members tickets are available, as well as tickets for accompanying persons.
